Sunday Mba: We will get the desired result in Kenya

Sunday Mba expects Nigeria to get a favourable result in Nairobi

The Super Eagles midfielder believes that the players on ground will get the much needed victory against the Harambee Stars on Wednesday
Sunday Mba is one of the players that Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi will be relying upon to get a win against the Harambee Stars on Wednesday at the Moi Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi. The undoubted hero from the last Africa Cup of Nations believes that though the team is shorn of some of its star players, the current squad will get the reslt needed against Kenya.
"Yes, we will be without some of our top stars for the qualifiers as well as the Confederations Cup,” Mba told Fifa.com.
“We would have loved to have them with us, but we hope that we still get the results we need even without them.
In the first leg in Calabar in April, Mba started but was replaced midway into the second half with the Eagles chasing an equaliser which Nnamdi Oduamadi got in added time to force the Harambee Stars to a 1-1 draw.
The Enugu Rangers midfielder played against Mexico in a friendly last Friday in which the Eagles were forced to a 2-2 draw.
“Last week, we showed character against Mexico in the 2-2 draw in Houston, Texas, and we believe we will also fly the flag high in Kenya, Namibia and also at the Confederations Cup.
“We have set a standard and Nigerians do not expect anything less,” Mba concluded.
Nigeria are ahead of Malawi on the Group F table courtesy of scoring more goals in the three matches played as both countries have five points.

THE REQUIREMENT TO GO INTO A SUCCESSFUL RELATIONSHIP.

In every good achievement in life, there are certain things that needs to be done in order to get a successful results. Most people thinks its only applicable to the materialistic pursuits of life not knowing it is also emotionally applicable. Lack of understanding the natural principles will only brings a short-term relationships.
Today, a great number of people go into relationship because of the feelings they have for the opposite sex at a particular time, not knowing the major cause of their feelings at that time will determine if they are in love or not. Feelings comes by what we see, hear, read, drink or eat. It could be written words, songs, talks, drugs or the movies we watch. With the early exposure to pornographic materials most people have been mislead into relationship at a tender and at the end they fall apart, making true love unreal.
Because of the high rate at which people are rushing into relationship, and the rampart heartbreaks, have listed and properly explain the requirement one needs to possess before going into a relationship.

1. AGE: This is the first requirement anyone needs to consider before entering a relationship. There are three stages in life, we have the adolescence stage (1 - 12years) The teenage stage (13-17years) and adult stage (18years and above). In each of this stages there is a physical and mentabolical change. Not until someone is fully matured it will be an ill-advise to go into a relationship.
Nowadays, people dont consider age because of fast physiological growth and the high urge for sex. Age has a sure role to play in the prosperity of a relationship. It is not about the person that is going into the relationship but with whom they choose as a partner. How old are you? How old is he/she? Is he/she older or younger than you? Are you of same age? How old do you want to be before getting married? What is the possibility of you two getting married? If you consider the above question you will always watch whom you date to avoid heart break.

For instance, a fourteen to seventeen year old girl having an affair with a male of same age. There is a possibility of heartbreak except the teenage boy is ready to settle down in a short while.
Physically, they are still young. They arel depending on their parents and elder ones for livelihood. They might be in secondary school/ college or fresh leaves in the university which means they have dreams to acheive which will take years. Sometimes their plans might not work out which will make them to chase new dreams, delaying their marital ambition.
Another point tp consider is the area of socialiazation. They have not travel far and wide to see the beauty of life, to meet interesting people that are more better than the one they have. Because of emotional immaturity, peer pressure, and thirst to indulge in what others are doing, they fall for the best around. By the time they starts meeting new friends especially when they someone that loves them more than their first love, their feelings for the first love will decrease, making all their years in the relationship a waste.
If the relationship last longer. Once they get to twenty six, the lady is ripe for marriage but the guy might not be ready due to some personal ambitious reasons. A wise girl will find another man who is ready to settle down and marry instead of waiting for another five years for his beloved lover to acheive his plans. Knowing that beauty fades with time, and most guys will dissappoints them as they will prefer to go for younger girls than someone of same age. So age catches up with them and all their years of youthful lust and togetherness becomes a history.

Thirteen to seventeen years is not the right time to enter a relationship, it is the time to study life, study love, learn from others relationship so that you will not become a victim of heartbreak or broken homes. Become wise. After you've truely understand love and life, at eighteen you can start a relationship. So that in a short while or in the next four or six years you will be planning to get splice. And once you need a relationship that will lead to marriage don't date a guy of same age expecially someone that is not ready to settle down in a short period of time.
Even though you want to date a guy of the same age, date a well-to-do guy, someone that is planning to have you as a wife not a partime lover. Many guys are looking for companions and sex mates not wife. Date someone you can marry. Someone that is at least three or more years older than you.
Note, it is better for a twenty-four year old girl to date a twenty-four year old guy that is ready for marriage than two teens, it is better for a twenty-eight year old girl to date a twenty-four years old guy that is ready for marrriage than two teenagers. Try to be mature enough before you starts a relationship, If you plan your life well, you will have the best of love. Remember, true love is not about you choosing a partner, you need to be chose

2) EMOTIONAL MATURITY: This is another trait one needs to possess before going into a relationship. Emotional maturity has nothing to do with someone's age or the size of the body, it is an inbuilt mature character one exhibit in a particular situation, lack of it has cause a lot of broken relationship.
Emotional maturity is the ability of a person to control their emotion in time of pressure. It is your reaction to people's action. It has to do with what you think, what you say, and how you say it. If you can properly compose yourself in time of pressure and control the situation, you are emotionally mature.
An emotionally immature person can not tolerate little pressure. They are not calm, they easily paranoid. They take decisions quickly and regrets later. They don't take advise, they dont mingle with people due to inferiority complex or pride. They are easily attracted to beauty so they are easily cajole by others. They can't control their sexual urge, this characters makes them not to have a stable relationship.
The good news is, an emotionally immature person can change. The first thing is to understand yourself, know the kind of character you possess, because your character will determine whom you date. Remember it's not everybody that will like you because of your character but someone will surely appreciate you. But If you have a character that people or your lover don't like, you can change to please, and win their heart. True love is all about changes. Someone's ability to change to suit the relationship shows his/her maturity.
Try and understand your lovers character to avoid misunderstanding, know what makes them happy or sad. Make sure you study them before going into the relationship. Is he/she hot tempered or cool? Can you tolerate their way of life? study them, see if you can sail with them forever before starting a relationship.
In addition, for you to be emotionally matured you have to understand life. Love is not always rosy rosy, you need to know the kind of challenges you will face in a relationship such as financial challenges, unfaithfulness, in-laws complaint, children stress, and other unpleasant characters that might come up in the relationship. Not until you have fully understand this things and ready to face and overcome them dont go into it. But if you are ready to tolerate it, you are matured enough to go into a successful relationship.

3) FINANCIAL CAPABILITY: This is ability for someone to have enough money to take care of himself and family. Financial capability makes marriage to come earlier than expected. Some people believes money is not that important in a relationship but love. I quite agree with them, love should come first, money is also very important.
Money beautifies love, it actualises love words. It secures the heart, it might even save a life. A man that expresses his love with love words only in due time becomes a sounding brass.
Study youthful couples that got properly married, they have a sustainable wealth. If some have money and his ripe for marriage nothing stops them... but once there is no money to even feed yourself talkless of to feed another person you will be afraid to get marry because you dont want to marry your lover into suffering.
Financial incapability has lead to abortive love. It causes abortion, broken homes and untimely death of our loveones. It has mislead most hearts to go into relationship they ought not to have enter. It makes a person to date the available not the desirable, and as soon as they become financially capable they throw the old partner away and go for their true choice.
As a guy make sure you plan your life well to be in wealth at an appropriate time. Draft the age you want to be before getting married, work now and make it happen. Money attracts many eyes, If you have it you will be able to have a choice, go for them and start a successive relationship. But once you dont have money any lady can serve.
As a girl, learn to watch whom you date. Date someone that can fulfil your needs if not now, in the nearest future. Know the kind of home you want to have, date someone that can make it happen. Never date a lazy person, someone that dream and talk big but will not make a move at it. Mind whom you date before time goes off you.

4) MOTIVES: This is the last requirement one needs to consider before going into a relationship. Motive have properly been discuss in one of my article "the reasons of going into a relationship"
Motive is your major purpose of someone going into a relationship. What is your motive of entering that relationship? What is your partners motive? A successful romantic relationship is a relationship that will lead to marriage. So, the only motive that should be your mind if you want to have a successful relationship is marriage. How many people in a relationship today have this mindset? Everybody wants to have fun forgeting their tommorow. If you dont have marriage as you motive, that relationship can break at any time. That's why I always advise, date someone you can marry....

If you can possess the above characters you can go into a relationship, it wll turns out well.

Chelsea return was easy decision" – Mourinho

Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho said it was an “easy decision” for him to return to Chelsea for a second spell in charge.

It was announced on Monday that the 50-year-old had signed a four-year deal to manage the club he had previously helped to two Premier League titles.

“It was an easy decision,” ex-Real Madrid boss Mourinho told Chelsea TV.

“I asked the boss ‘do you want me back?’, and the boss asked ‘do you want to come back?’ – after a couple of minutes the decision was made.”

He added, “I’m very happy. I had to prepare myself to not be too emotional on my arrival at the club, but obviously I’m very happy.”

The Portuguese manager, who also helped the Blues to two League Cup wins and one FA Cup triumph, takes over from interim boss Rafael Benitez following a three-year period in charge at Real Madrid.

He said that he would be looking to “improve the team” but not by spending millions in the transfer window.

“By that, I mean work with the team. My work has to improve the players and the team,” added Mourinho.

“If I don’t do that I won’t be happy with myself. If after that we can further improve the team by buying couple of players, then fantastic – but I have to improve the team with my work.”

Mourinho, who helped Real to the Spanish league title in 2012 and has won two European Cups with Porto and Inter Milan, said if it was up to him he would like to begin training with the squad straight away.

“I don’t need a holiday,” he added.

“I’m sorry that we aren’t beginning training tomorrow. I say to the players during the season when they are tired that victories make miracles.

“When you win, win, win, you are never tired. In my case, it’s about moving to a place I love. Happiness is stronger than tiredness.”

Mourinho initially left Chelsea by mutual consent on 20 September 2007 after the club had made an indifferent start to the season which had seen them occupy fifth in the table.

There were also reports that his relationship with Russian owner Roman Abramovich had become strained.

“I think it was a difficult moment because you know I love it here and I have a big connection with the club – it wasn’t easy for the club either,” he said of that period.

“But if you analyse it, in a cool way, and leave your emotions aside, I think it was fantastic. I got what I aimed for in my career, while Chelsea also won more important trophies.

“We are now back together which is a great moment for both. We are ready to marry again and be happy and successful again.”

BREAKING NEWS!!!! Chelsea appoint Mourinho on four-year deal

The Europa League holders have confirmed the appointment of the Portuguese for his second spell in charge at Stamford Bridge following a six-year absence
Jose Mourinho has been appointed Chelsea manager on a four-year deal.

The Portuguese coach succeeds Rafael Benitez, who has joined Napoli following his six-month interim spell at Stamford Bridge, in the Blues hot-seat.

Mourinho returns to west London for his second spell as Chelsea manager. Since he left the club less than six years ago, the Blues have been through eight managers when caretakers are included.

Ron Gourlay, Chelsea chief executive, welcomed the 50-year-old back to the club, saying: "I am delighted to welcome Jose back to Chelsea. His continued success, drive and ambition made him the outstanding candidate.

"It is our aim to keep the club moving forward to achieve greater success in the future and Jose is our number one choice as we believe he is the right manager to do just that."

Mourinho was Roman Abramovich's first managerial appointment following his 2003 takeover and his most successful to date. In three seasons at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho delivered two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cups but did not win the Champions League.

He will hope to rectify that upon his return after the most difficult period of his career at Real Madrid.

Mourinho won the 2011-12 Liga title, ending Barcelona's run of dominance in Spain, but could not progress beyond the semi-finals of the Champions League and conceded the Spanish championship back to Tito Vilanova's team last season.

Abramovich has invested heavily at Chelsea in recent seasons as the team Mourinho helped to construct has aged, and the future looks bright for the two-time Champions League winner's return.

Frank Lampard, John Terry and Petr Cech remain of the key cogs of Mourinho's previous Blues team but the likes of Juan Mata, David Luiz and Eden Hazard lead this side now.

The spending, too, looks set to continue this summer. Goal exclusively revealed that Vitesse midfielder Marco van Ginkel is set to become the first signing of Mourinho's second spell in charge and Andre Schurrle, of Bayer Leverkusen, has been heavily linked with the Blues, while the Europa Legue winners have also entered into negotiations with Roma for their Italy international midfielder Daniele De Rossi.

HAPPY MOMENTS

DULL MOMENTS

Barca are not the greatest of all time

Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich, 2013 UEFA Champions League: Final score 0-3, Bavarians sensational

The Blaugrana never looked like they had a chance to mount a comeback, and never came close to doing so against a brilliant Bayern Munich side.

Those who expected Barcelona to mount some sort of comeback on Wednesday night will be sorely disappointed after the Blaugrana's lackluster display. Bayern Munich were every bit as good at the Camp Nou as they were at home, winning 3-0 on the night to defeat the Catalans 7-0 on aggregate.
It was apparent from the game's outset that Barcelona had little to no chance of erasing the four goal deficit in front of them. The first significant play of the match was a backpass by Dani Alves to Victor Valdes under heavy pressure, which the referee failed to spot. While no goals were produced by either team in the first half, that desperate backpass and all of the events that ensued in the the period were a sign of things to come.
With Barcelona constantly needing to take risks, Bayern had plenty of lanes to counter into. The hosts were also very impatient and gave the ball away in dangerous areas much more frequently than they used to. Only some brilliant defending by Gerard Pique, on multiple occasions, kept the Bavarians from scoring in the first half and completely ending the tie. He blocked a shot by Philipp Lahm in the 10th minute, stripped Arjen Robben of the ball on a break in the 14th minute and cut out a dangerous cross by Lahm in the 20th.
Barcelona's only significant chance of the first half came on a 35-yard drive from Pedro, which Manuel Neuer didn't have much trouble with. With Lionel Messi on the bench, they didn't appear to have any kind of bite, and given how well Bayern's midfield and defense played, it's unlikely that Messi would have made the difference.
Robben ended the tie for good just four minutes into the second half. After picking up a fantastic switch from David Alaba, Robben cut inside from the right flank onto his favored left foot and curled a gorgeous shot around Valdes into the side netting at the far post, giving his side a 1-0 lead on the night. That goal meant that Barcelona had an impossible six-goal margin to make up.
Things only got worse for the Blaugrana. Pique, one of the only men for Barcelona who could honestly say he'd played an excellent game up until the 72nd minute, turned in a rather embarrassing own goal to add one more to Bayern's tally. He attempted to cut out a Franck Ribery cross, but the ball hit off his knee and ricochet into the back of the net in comical fashion.
David Villa struck the post with a header a couple of minutes after that, but the next goal would belong to Bayern as well. Ribery was a major part of the goal once again, beating Alves down the flank and putting in a cross for Thomas Müller, who got up high enough to reach the ball and nod it into the back of the net.
Bayern entered the game with many of their stars facing potential suspension, but will head to Wembley with their best possible squad intact. Lahm, Javi Martinez and Bastian Schweinsteiger were all substituted off before they picked up a booking, while Dante sat out this game with flu-like symptoms. Luis Gustavo, a substitute, and Mario Gomez, who did not play, also kept themselves out of the book to remain available for the final.

After a 4-0 demolition in Germany last week, Bayern Munich Players are looking forward to Barcelona second leg – video

Manchester United's summer targets identified, reveals Ferguson

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he has already identified his summer transfer targets, and has begun work on strengthening his squad ahead of next season.

The 71-year-old believes Manchester United have a solid foundation to their squad but says the club will again try to be competitive in the transfer market after landing Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa last summer.

The Scot wants to compliment his young talent, who will mature over the next few years, with additional quality to help United retain their title against challenges from big spending Manchester City and Chelsea.

"Hopefully the players we bring into the club in the next year or so will be of the quality we need," Sir Alex told the club's official magazine.

"We're competitive in the market - we're not Chelsea or Manchester City in terms of money but we're competitive.

"We've been doing a bit of work on that over the last three or four months, targeting who the players are that we feel could enhance us, make us better or help us maintain the level we're at.

"You have to look at the structure of the club at present, in terms of the number of first-team players we have at 23 or under.

"David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling, Alex Buttner, Nick Powell, Tom Cleverley and Danny Welbeck. Shinji Kagawa and Chicharito are 24. Jonny Evans is 25 and Wayne Rooney is hitting his peak at 27.

"Older players like Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand may be coming towards the end of their careers, but these younger players are the foundation for the next five or six years, irrespective of the players breaking through, like Adnan Januzaj, the Belgian boy, who's really looking very good."

Bozo's Big Beautiful Ass (Donkey)

There was an old man named Bozo, and all he had was a female donkey. One day he wins the lottery and gets $50,000. He doesn't know what to do with his money, so he decides to spend a night in a five star hotel. He asks for the finest room and starts going up the stairs with his female donkey. The manager sees him and asks where he's going with his donkey.
"Anywhere I go, she goes."
"I'm sorry, sir," said the manager, "but you can't take the donkey upstairs. Leave it down here with us and we'll take good care of her." So Bozo goes up to his room and opens the door. Everything is made of gold, there is a table full of food, and a huge television. He doesn't want to ruin anything so he takes his raggedy coat off and sleeps on the floor. The next morning the manager comes up to the room and asks how his night was.
''Great!'' replied Bozo. ''How much do I have to pay?'' he asks.
''One thousand dollars for the food.''
''But I haven't touched the food."
''It was right there, so you should have. Two thousand dollars for the TV."
''But I didn't even know how to turn the damn thing on!''
''It was there, so you should have. Five thousand for sleeping on the bed."
''But I slept on the floor!''
''It was there. Your total is eight thousand dollars."
''You owe me ten thousand dollars for screwing my donkey.''
''But sir, I didn't screw your donkey.''
''It was there. You should have!''

Mourinho & Falcao are Chelsea-bound

Jose Mourinho has agreed a deal to re-join Chelsea as their manager this summer – and is poised to bring €59 million striker Radamel Falcao with him.

Goal.com understands that the Real Madrid boss is expected to be unveiled in the Stamford Bridge hot seat at the end of the season following a breakthrough in negotiations with the club over the last week.

The Chelsea high command, led by Roman Abramovich, have been in talks with Mourinho’s camp for months about a sensational return for the man who led the club to two Premier League titles during his first spell in charge from 2004-2007.

Negotiations have centred on how much control Mourinho will have in recruiting players and staff, as well as his place in a management structure where low-profile technical director Michael Emenalo holds the levers of power.

It is believed that, following a series of twists and turns during discussions, an agreement in principle has been reached for the Portuguese to take over from interim manager Rafael Benitez this summer.

Mourinho is expected to put pen to paper and formalise the deal when he ends his three-year spell in Madrid at the end of next month.

A report in Germany last week claimed that Chelsea were on the brink of landing both Mourinho and Atletico Madrid’s spearhead Falcao.

Goal.com understands that the European champions have since made further progress with both deals and are confident that Mourinho will announce the prolific Colombian, who is also represented by super agent Jorge Mendes, as one of his first signings.

BEN HAYWARD, GOAL.COM INTERNATIONAL
Jose Mourinho has been here before. Just under three years ago, also at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Portuguese lifted his second Champions League trophy, with Inter, and then moved on straight away - just as he had done with Porto six years earlier.

After leading Inter to their first European Cup success since 1965, Mourinho revealed he was moving to Madrid, but was much more coy in the press room moments later. "I haven't decided yet," he told the international media. And in any case it would be hard to leave, because he loved Inter, he explained.

But his mind had been made up and something similar happened on Tuesday night. "Would he be staying at Madrid?" he was asked. "Maybe not - I love to be where people love me to be," was his reply. So anywhere but Spain, then, given all the problems he has had with players, press and just about everybody else.

Down in the press room itself, he was less forthcoming and claimed he may still be at the Spanish side next term. But he won't be. His earlier words gave the game away - he has never truly felt the love at Madrid and now is the time to move on to a place where he really does feel appreciated. So Chelsea seems ideal.
Chelsea, who came close to landing Falcao last August and then again in January, have been in talks with Atletico top brass for weeks about the structure of a deal which is complicated by uncertainty over the future of goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who has been extremely impressive since joining the Spanish club on loan at the start of last season.

Chelsea are prepared to allow the Belgian keeper to continue his development by staying in Madrid for another season if it eases Falcao's path to west London.

The Blues have made it clear that they are willing to activate the €59m release clause in the striker’s Atletico contract.

The deal is a complex one because of third-party ownership issues - with Mendes part of a consortium holding an interest in Falcao - but Chelsea have intensified their efforts to land the front man in a bid to ensure the transfer can be completed.

The London club have made Falcao a contract offer and it is believed that personal terms have already been agreed on a deal that is likely to make the striker one of the highest paid players in Premier League history.

Goal.com exclusively revealed in March that the former Porto man is chasing a deal worth around €295,000 per week.

Mourinho and senior Chelsea officials regard the Colombian, who has scored 32 goals in 36 games for Atletico this season, as an upgrade on current front men Fernando Torres and Demba Ba.

Falcao has the pedigree and star quality which Chelsea thought they had acquired with the £50m purchase of Torres in January 2010, but the Spaniard is now likely to be put up for sale to help fund the purchase of the player earmarked to be his replacement.
